Error in Package for slipstreaming a Windows XP CD for Dell Adamo 13

MYLib was the first who checked out the package and find out that the SATA AHCI Driver in my Package is the wrong one.

@my office i work with so many dell hardware (every model of Optiplex since GX260 and a lot of different Dell Latitude notebooks) that it could be more than possible that i took the wrong driver.

I will check that on Monday and put the right driver right up here.

THX and have a nice WE

  1. Hi,

How can I contact you with questions?

I'm having problem installing WinXP on Adamo, and hoping you can help!

After AHCI loaded, after restart to finalise installtion, get message "windows can't start...computer disk hardware configuration problem"

You seem to be one of the few people to post any info about winXP on Adamo, would really appreciate your help!

    Thanks,

    Nick

  2. Sorry guys,

was a little bit sick the last couple of weeks.

    @Nick
this happens because i put in the wrong AHCI drivers in the package.

I will send you the right one via Mail.
Would be very kind if you leave me a feedback if the driver works fine for your problem.
(At this time i have no Adomo right here so i could check it by myself)

  3. Hello there -

I was wondering if you'd made any more progress in the installation package, or could offer some help to those of use still trying to get XP on the machine?

    Regards, Joe

  4. Thank you so much for this! It works perfectly... almost. The integrated camera is recognized and I can see the image, but I couldn't get the microphone to work. Do you have any suggestions?
    Many thanks,

  5. Hi,

I installed XP x64 and after some hassle and search for x64 drivers I got it working. The only problem is the sound. I can´t get it working. Tried with many drivers from everywhere in the net....

Anybody get the sound working in XP 64bit ?
